Joy’s Veg, Non-Veg Restaurant Launch at Karve Road, Warje
Among much fanfare, Joy’s Veg & Non-Veg Restaurant was inaugurated on Sunday, 09 April 2023 at Karve Road, Warje by Ms. Rupali Chakankar, Chairperson, Maharashtra State Commission for Women. A brother-sister duo—Ashish Barole and Jyoti Galande—have started the restaurant. Ashish Barole is a former IT professional [Tata Consultancy Services (TCS)] and a big-time foodie.
The restaurant was inaugurated by Ms. Rupali Chakankar, Chairperson, Maharashtra State Commission for Women. The other dignitaries who graced the event included Mr. Murlidhar Mohol, Former Pune Mayor; Ms. Deepali Dhumal, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Leader; Mr. Rajabhau Kishan Barate, Corporator, Pune; Mr. Sushil Mengade, Corporator, Pune; Mr. Pradip Baba Dhumal, Former President of Board of Education; Ms. Lakshmi Dudhane, Corporator, Pune; Shivbhakt Aniket Bhau Ghule, Yuvasena Leader; Ms. Vrushali Chaudhari, Corporator, Pune; Mr. Sachin Dodke, Corporator, Warje; and Mr. Dilip Bhau Barate, Corporator, Pune.
The restaurant aims to bring Marathwada-styled food and taste to Pune foodies. Its specialty includes Dum ka Murga, a Hyderabadi dish marinated in cashews and an assortment of spices. The place is budget-friendly with mutton, chicken thalis and starters available in a delectable taste.
